Engagement Manager
Location: Remote (Chicago, IL preferred)
Compensation: Hourly | Part-time
About the Role
We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Junior Engagement Manager to support client-facing projects across healthcare, AI, and data-focused initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their career with strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a natural curiosity to dig deep and solve problems. You’ll play a key role in keeping our client work organized, timely, and impactful.
What You’ll Do
- Drive client momentum: Set clear agendas, capture key takeaways, and keep action items moving forward
- Project management: Help plan, track, and coordinate tasks across internal and client teams
- Data analysis & research: Clean, organize, and interpret data in Excel, PowerPoint, or BI tools
- Presentation prep: Build high-quality slides, dashboards, and deliverables for internal and external use
- Take ownership across engagements, proactively stepping in to solve problems, remove blockers, and ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Are…
- Organized & detail-driven: You catch the small stuff that others miss
- Inquisitive: You ask questions, seek clarity, and enjoy understanding the “why” behind the work
- Resourceful: You don’t wait for instructions—you find answers and push forward
- High ownership: You treat projects like your own and always follow through
- Sense of urgency: You move fast, without compromising on quality
- Self-learner: You’re eager to learn new tools, skills, and ways of working
- Comfortable working with data and turning insights into visuals or summaries in a storyboard
-
1–3 years experience in consulting, project coordination, operations, or analyst roles
-
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
-
Leverage foundational SQL skills and database understanding with sharp analytical instincts to independently explore data and drive problem-solving.
Bonus Points
- Experience in healthcare data, workforce planning, or operational analytics
- Comfortable designing secure, compliant systems (SOC2/HIPAA experience)
- Background in data science, simulation, or analytics tools (not just app development)
- Experience in healthcare, AI, or data analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, Notion, or Airtable
Why This Is Special
- You’ll be a co-creator, not just a builder
- You’ll work directly with real users and real messy hospital data
- You’ll shape a product that could impact decision-making across healthcare
